I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). My research focuses on machine learning—particularly deep reinforcement learning, transfer learning, and generalization—for smart transportation and sustainable mobility. I am also passionate about eco-driving guidance and incentive design.

I earned my M.S. and B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Seoul National University, where I worked on projects ranging from variable speed limit control to public bike repositioning strategies.
